  • UT Austin’s part-time coding boot camp is designed for working professionals. The convenient schedule allows you to continue working while pursuing a career change or advancement.
  • The full time program includes classes Monday through Friday. Students can complete the full-time program at an accelerated pace.
  • Students can complete the part-time program in 6 months (24 weeks).
  • Students can complete the full-time program in 3 months (12 weeks).

  • Yes, we offer all of our students career assistance and coaching. We also provide opportunities for students to meet with potential employers.
  • In addition, students have access to experiential learning opportunities to to help strengthen their portfolio. Learn more about our career services.
  • While prior knowledge can be useful, no experience is required as long as you are committed and eager to learn. Our pre-course tutorials help you prepare for our program.
  • It’s not about your experience, your resume or your degree—it’s about your dedication and hard work. Web development is challenging, so we look for students who are success-driven because we know that this program requires a commitment of time and effort in order to best learn the course concepts.
  • Admission to UT Austin is not a requirement for enrollment in either boot camp.
  • This program requires completion of an application process and is not open enrollment. Prospective students can fill out our program information request form or call our admissions department. Applicants  go through an initial phone interview with an advisor. Those who are recommended to move forward take a critical thinking and problem-solving coding test. Then those who pass the academic test will have a final interview with our academic department to determine if they are accepted into the program.
  • No, the only requirement is that you be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
  • We offer a part-time program that allows working professionals to study web development without leaving work.
  • We provide access to a robust network of corporate partners.
  • Our part-time program requires 10 hours of in-class time per week. In addition, you must be willing to dedicate a minimum of 20* hours to outside work per week (*depending on experience) in order to truly immerse yourself in the materials covered in class.
  • Our full-time program requires 20 hours of in-class time per week. You must be willing to dedicate a minimum of 20-30* hours to outside work per week (*depending on experience) in order to thrive in our FT program.
  • Yes, a reliable laptop is required for this course. Laptops can be Mac or PC, with a minimum 8GB of RAM and a dual core processor (64 bit).
  • If you’re unsure if your laptop meets the requirements,  please check with our admissions advisor first and they will make sure you’re good to go.
  • No, all that is needed for class is your laptop and the eagerness to learn.
  • Currently, UT Austin alumni are eligible for a $500 scholarship toward tuition. We also offer early registration pricing and payment plans.
